perrine en morceaux - expert in nothing.

I sing ways of saying. I make repetitive music out of whatever I find. I experiment with sounds and rhymes with 1 head, 2 machines and 3 mics. I am at war against my own fears and certainties. By making songs, I mean to be working at a revolution which cannot be but intimate.

Between 2000 and 2005, she studies business in a leading French business school (ESSEC MBA, France). Meanwhile, she develops some self-taught art practices ranging from sculpture, installation, video, to performance. Between 2004 and 2007, she visits an art school, drops it quickly, makes a living as a part time business consultant, and continue her D.I.Y artistic experimentations with many different mediums. Among them is music, involving sound and singing.
In summer 2007, she sings 5 songs in front of an audience, and since then, she has performed about 100 solo concerts all around Europe, and self-produced 2 albums : ESSAIS EMISSION (March09) and CONTRE LE FUTUR (Aug10).
perrine lives and works in Paris half and in the PerformingArtsForum (PAF - St-Erme, France, www.pa-f.net) as a solo song-maker, under the name of perrine en morceaux.
