Sayaka Kaiwa

From Sweet and Tender

Sayaka Kaiwa was born in Japan, lived and educated in Japan, Thailand, USA (Hampshire College and New York City) and Belgium. After graduating from P.A.R.T.S. in 2006, she worked as a freelance dancer in Germany, Denmark, and Belgium. In 2008, she became a choreographic assistant to Ted Stoffer and Veronika Riz. She is currently working on a duet "Rencontres Des Imbeciles" with Ted Stoffer, which will premiere as a part of Brighten Dance Festival in May 22nd.

As a member of Sweet and Tender collaborations, she created and performed a duet Tableau Doublé together with Jenny in Hamburg and Porto, as well as Band - both of which creation started at the meeting at PAF, summer 2007.
